Pocket Fox is a 6 piece folk and roll band based in Santa Barbara, CA. They have a large salad bowl of original music, blending folk, rock, funk, jazz and soul for a exciting and versatile sound. They are half acoustic and half electric, allowing them to reach many different soundscapes and vibrations.
Katie Skene is a blues & Americana singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Ventura, CA. Growing up in Tallahassee, FL, she was raised on the roots music of the South, playing shows and festivals around the Southeast before moving to L.A to study and pursue music. She has worked for many years in the Jam-Band & Americana scene, collaborating with prominent artists including members of the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and more. Her music melds swamp blues, psychedelic twang and down-home folk into a cosmic soundscape, paying homage to vintage influences while capturing a fresh & modern sound. She currently fronts her own band, as well as Jam-band supergroup California Kind, and Acid Americana duo, Katie & Andrea. She is also a member of Farmer Dave & The Wizards of The West. She is currently recording her first full length LP to be released in mid-2022.
