(hed) P.E. (Planet Earth) is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California. Known for their unique fusion of punk rock, hip-hop, metal, and reggae, (hed) P.E. pioneered a sound often referred to as “G-punk.” Fronted by lead vocalist Jared Gomes (a.k.a. M.C.U.D.), the band’s socially conscious lyrics often tackle themes like politics, rebellion, and personal struggle. Their breakthrough album, Broke (2000), gained them a cult following with tracks like "Bartender" and "Killing Time." Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, (hed) P.E. continues to tour and release music, maintaining their underground legacy and anti-establishment ethos.
