Sunsets is a dance & electronic producer based out of San Diego, California who is known for his groovy dance beats and infectious collaborations ranging from styles like nu-disco, funk and house. The nu-disco producer has also performed two years in a row with his band at Same Same But Different music festival with headlining acts such as Polo & Pan, Louis the Child, Griz and Big Wild.
TONOSO
Tonoso is a live electronic indie-dance duo based in Los Angeles. Their music offers a fresh blend of disco, Indie-dance, psychedelic-house, and funk. Jacob’s percussion and vocal ability, paired with Paul’s jazz guitar and sound design sensibilities, create a refreshing perspective on modern dance music. They often collaborate and perform with other local artists including rappers Face Value and FnGHaze, background vocalist Alondra Marquez, and other featured vocalists.
FRIENDS OF
Friends of is multi-instrumentalist and producer Zeke Reed, making what he calls “psychedelic space disco.” His sound is simultaneously dancey and trippy, retro and modern, organic and electronic. Zeke brings the full band experience to the dancefloor, singing and alternating between bass, guitar, and synth alongside a live drummer and lead guitarist. The undeniable grooves and high-energy delivery always get the crowd moving. Plus, the whole band wears space suits. In April, Zeke released his debut EP “Airstream Astronaut,” highlighting his cosmic cowboy aesthetic. Cohesive yet eclectic, the EP ranges from the mind-melting “Mushroom Disco” and Italo-disco bop “Ciao Baby” to the soulful “Sundial,” summery “Tryna Figure Out” and lovelorn “Meant to be.”
